Watch out frozen sorbets, there’s a new kid in town!
Frozen Blue-Banna Bliss
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 c. frozen blueberries
- 1/2-3/4 c. milk (I use 1%…use less milk if your blender is more powerful and can blend a thick consistency!)
- toppings: 2 T. Natures Path Pumpkin Flax Granola
zwooom…prskh….blend, blend, blend.
Admittedly, my blender is not a Vita-mix. It likes to leave little chunks behind rather than crushing the frozen banana into a whippy end result. However, I’ve learned to like this about my blender. Who doesn’t want little fluffy peices of banana-mallow in between each bite? Bliss!
Today I have big plans for my catch-up day before a busy week of classes starting Monday. I can’t wait to feel caught up with homework, working out and having some me time (in the form of making a big batch of soup and getting my hair cut )
Any plans for your Saturday?
Yummy breakfast! I definitely need to play catch up today on work, too
Looks great! I love blueberries for breakfast. I’ll be picking up some granola very soon to top it.
That frozen conconction looks absolutely amazing! I actually have a home-made cranberry sorbet recipe that you’d maybe like? I’ll have to give it to you… Have fun on your ‘me’ day. I had my hair cut last night, by the way. 🙂 Today, I’m off to spend some quality time with my hubby. And tomorrow, fun time with my sistah. 😉 Have an awesome day!
That looks amazing – I love the combo of blueberries and banana. My maigc bullet does the same thing, but I actually like having the small chunks too.
This looks really, really good! Thanks for the inspiration and hope you’re having a great weekend:)

Oh wow, you have just seriously upped the game on sorbet/smoothies!
Catch up days with ‘me-time’ included are so great! I had a yoga class this morning and then an impromptu second class right after that! It was a lot of fun. Kind of spontaneous but still nothing to crazy. I like to pretend that I live on the edge sometimes. Have a great weekend!
