Sorry…I’m having issues with my computer, which explains the problems with this post! Hopefully all is well now. 😉
After finding myself in a breakfast rut, I knew that having a breakfast bonanza was a must. Time to try new flavors. New ideas. New textures. All in the spirit of fun.
You guys came back with an explosion of new breakfasts throughout the week. Let’s start with…
Nelly knows how to make breakfast feel cozy! Poached eggs, whole wheat crackers, cheddar cheese and carrots for crunch. With a good book for reading and a hot cup of coffee on the side. Perfect.
Pumpkin + Coconut Milk + Crushed Flax = the perfect, quintessential autumn breakfast, courtesy of Ashlei. Love it. I can not wait to make these!
(p.s. how adorable is this plate??)
Tahini, honey and dates—oh my! Such a flavor filled combo, if I say so myself. This recipe—courtesy of Fi—alone gives me good reason to add tahini to my pantry. Yes, it does. 😀
It’s easy to make a tasty, veggie-filled breakfast, whether you’re eating at home or on the road. Angie knows just how to do it, with this veggie filled breakfast burrito.
Head over to Bake + Bike if the idea of pumpkin pancakes studded with cranberries and walnuts makes you swoon.
Caitlyn made whole wheat crepes. Stuffed to the brim with ooey, gooey grilled bananas.
One word. Amazing.
(p.s. for the record, she also makes the most adorable banana boats…check out her blog for more! 😀 )
Of all the new and different breakfasts that I tried for this week, I’d have to say the Mighty Millet Mish Mash was one of my favorites. There were so many different flavors and textures that I never would have considered mixing together, but it was delicious. I’ll be making it again. And again. And again.
Thanks to everyone for reading and/or participating! I had fun seeing all your new creations and coming up with some new ideas along the way. Keep getting creative in your kitchen, and never be afraid to experiment! 😀
